iPhone 5 Start Production In July

Rumors that production of the iPhone 5 will begin in July and will begin shipping to retail shops in September this year. iPhone 5 will use a processor with a speed higher than that in the iPhone 4. Even so added also that the design of the iPhone 5 or less the same with the iPhone 4.

iPhone 5 with a higher processor speed is most likely the A5. A5 is the processor that Apple released last month and used in the iPad 2.

If the rumors are true then this summer there will be an iPhone 5 yet.
Speculation says Apple will release it in the Apple Event for autumn this year, namely in September. We’ll wait and do not miss the information in puzaphoto.

FEMA Releases Android App, T-Mobile Offers Hurricane Tips

Just in time for Hurricane Irene, FEMA has released their Android App with all sorts of emergency tips and help guides and more. This is just in time as this sad hurricane Irene appears to be headed right for the East Coast and will most likely cause a few problems. The new FEMA app is full of useful tips, checklists, meeting places, contact numbers and more. It will even offer the latest news for before, during and after a disaster. while most likely everyone on the East Coast is already hurrying to figure out a plan this could sure help with everything. Go down checklists to make sure you have things you need. Spare batteries, chargers for cell phones, all sorts of stuff. I’m just thinking mobile since after all we are all about Android.

The app will help with more than just hurricanes, same applies for things like the recent earthquake, floods and more. This wont help anyone if Verizon delays the Bionic again, but that sure would be a disaster.

T-Mobile is also prepping for the Hurricane and you can read all about how prepared they are, as well as see tips they are providing at the T-Mobile Blog. Here are a few tips thanks to T-Mobile

– Use text messaging to communicate instead of voice calls. Text messaging has a greater success rate in getting through the network during high-usage periods.
– Keep your calls short in duration.
– Utilize Wi-Fi calling if your device has the feature. This feature takes advantage of your in-home data connection to place calls in case the cellular network is congested or down. (If home has power)
– Make sure your phone is fully charged prior to the storm. Consider obtaining a vehicle charger in the event of power loss.

A few of these may be obvious to some, but not for others. Here are a few tips from us as well.

– Charge your phones, charge back-up batteries and make sure you have a car charger
– Turn off phone during the storm, keep it off so you’ll have full power when things clear
– Bring spare batteries for cell phones, cars, any anything else you’ll need.
– Download one of the many different Flashlight Apps for Android
– Text to communicate as they have a better chance of getting through, just as T-Mobile stated above

The Concept Atomic Helped Father the Internet

In “A History of the Internet and the Digital Future” by Johnny Ryan, he writes about the exciting (if not terrifying at times) when strategic policy decisions regarding Nuclear deployment systems, redundancy, and communication systems were developed in order to insure the United States would not fail in the defense of itself.

But before the technology could be built, competing conceptual theories about just how all that could meaningfully occur in a rapid timeframe were happening in think-tanks. The now Ex Soviet Union eventually developed vaguely similar strategies; but in the early 50s, they relied on brute force and numbers to get their upper hand.

This is the story about how the U.S.took those theories they developed, and forged them into other areas that would allow every part of our world to be connected. Whether it’s medical information, scientific data between universities and schools, or even how commerce and tool die shops tie in to one another; these once specific Atomic concepts eventually morphed into what now allows women and men around the world to chat with their families and friends nearly everywhere in a fashion that is simply taken for granted by most.

Madden, What Happens if There’s a Strike?

A strike is looming, and the fatter cat team owners could possibly survive a two year lockout. Click here for a report.
While things might not turn out well financially for the NFL and the NFLPA come March 4th, 2011 (the day the lockout officially begins); many fans are wondering what this coming Fall will be like should America’s most popular pastime is MIA?

I was thinking about all of this when suddenly, the thought occurred, “What the heck happens to the Madden video game franchise if the NFL Collective Bargaining Agreement ends and a lengthy lockout occurs?”

While analysts have talked about the amount of money that might be lost in more mainstream sectors from a lockout; not any I’ve seen have talked about the $ 788 million dollars EA Sports will lose. EA already came up short of projections $ 391 million in 2010. (report here) In my opinion, EA will be obviously hurt, and I’d think it would have an even greater effect on the company that makes Madden franchise EA-Tiburon.

More importantly, what happens to the gamers!?!?

Will EA-Tiburon move to an edition that only highlights the classic rosters? Could they have something up their sleeves none of us can imagine? Surely they are prepared for what’s looking more and more like a lockout eventuality; but it is a difficult question that I can only speculate about.

iPhone application connects users to school sports, leagues

Sports teams looking to get their information out to their communities in an accessible and modern way need not worry any longer — now there’s an app for that.

Team Info App LLC of Ruston has launched an iPhone application that gives schools, sports leagues and business teams a way to offer their communities vital information specific to their organization directly through their smartphones.

Only two days after becoming available to the public, the TeamInfoApp was the 17th most downloaded sports app in the Apple App Store on Friday, according to iOSNOOPS and iOS tracking company.

“We were really excited and thrilled by that,” said TeamInfoApp co-founder and designer, Jordan Riggs, who created the app with his wife, Julie. “We really believe in the concept.”

Riggs said they came up with the idea for the app after seeing the need firsthand.

“My wife and I have six kids who play just about every sport imaginable, and we couldn’t figure out why more high schools and sports leagues didn’t have a custom app to keep parents and fans updated with their team’s information,” he said. “So we looked into it and realized that what did exist was costly and labor-intensive for the schools and leagues to use and provided very limited features. We came up with a concept of something very easy and inexpensive for our partners to use with very little effort on their part.”

The app allows users to access a variety of information from their organization, including their schedule, calendar of events, directions to events on Google Maps, team rosters, fundraising opportunities, contact information and websites.

“As parents, we’re so busy today, and the info is out there but oftentimes not where you really need it to be. This allows the organizations to provide that information in the place where they really want to have it, which is on their phone,” Riggs said. “Our phones have become the place where we access about 90 percent of our information.”

TeamInfoApp is now partnered with Ruston’s Cedar Creek School, Ruston Parks and Recreation, the YMCA of Northeast Louisiana for Ouachita, Lincoln and LaSalle parishes, Ruston Body Works and Ruston Dixie Baseball.
